Identified by Julie Fitzgerald as a rising teenage talent, Kimberlee Green went on to become one of the greatest players of her generation, carving out an extraordinary 17-season career at the highest level. Her glittering résumé features three premierships, two World Championships, Commonwealth Games gold, a League MVP Award and 74 Test caps for the Australian Diamonds.
Just when retirement appeared to be calling, fate had one more chapter to write. Reunited with her long-time mentor Julie Fitzgerald, Green returned to lead the Giants as their inaugural captain in 2017, inspiring a brand-new franchise from day one.
Today, Kimberlee has embraced life beyond the court with the same passion and professionalism that defined her playing career. The 36-year-old successfully balances motherhood, a thriving business and a respected role as a Fox Sports commentator, continuing to make a significant impact on Australian netball.
